​Village People were first referred to as the kings of disco in a 1979 Rolling Stone Magazine article.  Since that time, Village People has been referred to as the kings of disco worldwide in numerous articles, programs and shows. 

We are dedicated to promotion of the fact that Village People are the Kings of Disco.  We are the preservation source for the group’s period of success and historical significance (1977-1979).   Kingsofdisco.com also provides information services, an online portal for bookings, official merchandise, music, concert tickets, and more.
